Job Summary
Zoomlion Djibouti is a newly established operation seeking a proactive and highly organized HR & Administration Specialist to support the setup and daily management of human resources and administrative functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in building efficient HR systems, supporting recruitment and onboarding, maintaining employee relations, and ensuring smooth office administration during the company’s growth phase. The position requires a dynamic individual capable of working in a fast-paced and multicultural environment while contributing to the successful establishment and expansion of Zoomlion Djibouti operations.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Duties
Support end-to-end recruitment processes including job advertising, screening, interviews, onboarding, and induction.
Maintain employee records, HR databases, and personnel files with confidentiality and accuracy.
Assist in payroll preparation, attendance management, leave tracking, and benefits administration.
Coordinate employee onboarding and exit procedures.
Support implementation of HR policies, procedures, and labor law compliance.
Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies and workplace matters.
Assist in performance management and employee evaluation processes.
Prepare HR reports including manpower, attendance, leave, and recruitment reports.
Support training and staff development activities.
Ensure proper documentation for visas, work permits, and employee contracts where applicable.
Administrative Duties
Oversee office administration and ensure smooth daily operations.
Manage office supplies, inventory, and procurement requests.
Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodation bookings, and meetings.
Maintain company assets and administrative records.
Support preparation of official correspondence, reports, and presentations.
Coordinate maintenance of office facilities and equipment.
Ensure proper filing and document management systems.
Liaise with external vendors, service providers, and government offices.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HR and administration roles.
Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience working in multinational or fast-paced environments is an added advantage.
Fluency in English required.
